Kitten / Cat Contract  

 Purchaser agrees to the following

1. Under no circumstances will this kitten/cat (named above) be sold, leased, or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.
2. This kitten/cat will not be allowed to roam freely outdoors.
3. This kitten/cat is purchased as a PET: _____ ; BREEDING: _____;  SHOW_____ quality.
4. If purchased as a PET, the PURCHASER (named below) agrees to castrate or spay the kitten within three (3) months of the date of purchase, and also guarantees this kitten/cat WILL NOT be used for stud or breeding.
5. If the PURCHASER is no longer able to care for the kitten/cat, and cannot find the kitten/cat a good home, the PURCHASER may return the kitten/cat to ASAHI BENGALS. Prior to the kitten/cat returning, the PURCHASER must have the kitten/cat checked by their Veterinarian and produce certification that the kitten/cat is clear from any communicable diseases which may be spread to other animals. ASAHI BENGALS is not obligated to refund the PURCHASER if the kitten/cat is returned after the five (5) day Health Guarantee (listed below). At the time the kitten/cat is returned ASAHI BENGALS and the PURCHASER will discuss the future of the kitten/cat.
6. If purchased as a PET, ASAHI BENGALS agrees to provide pedigree and registration papers for this kitten upon presentation of a Veterinarian’s certificate of castration or spaying.
7. No cash refund after five (5) day guarantee period.

Health Guarantee

*No payments will be made for Veterinary bills incurred on behalf of this kitten/cat*

The kitten/cat is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase. It is guaranteed for a period of five (5) days from the date of purchase (listed above). We strongly recommend that the new kitten/cat be quarantined during this time. If the kitten/cat is found to be medically deficient with an untreatable or life threatening condition, it must be reported to ASAHI BENGALS immediately. Upon the kitten/cats return, within the five (5) day guarantee period the full purchase price will be refunded. It is the PURCHASERS responsibility to provide immediate Veterinary care to any kitten/cat showing signs of illness or distress, and failure to do so will render any guarantees NULL and VOID. Under no circumstances is the kitten/cat to be destroyed before the PURCHASER has made notification to ASAHI BENGALS. If the kitten/cat dies within the five (5) day guarantee period, despite medical treatment, a refund of the purchase price will only be made after a Veterinarian certifies the cause of death, and that cause of death is determined to be the fault of ASAHI BENGALS. The kitten/cat is guaranteed against congenital defects until it has reached the end of its fourteenth (14^th) month of age. Should the kitten/cat be diagnosed with a congenital defect, or pass away as a result of a congenital defect, before it has reached the end of its fourteenth (14^th) month of age, the kitten/cat will be replaced ONLY if a licensed Veterinarian certifies that the kitten/cat has been diagnosed with (or passed away as a result of) a congenital defect. The replacement of a kitten/cat will be that of comparable quality and value, furnished within six (6) months from the date of proof.

By signing below the PURCHASER certifies that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms set forth in this contract. This contract is legally binding to both parties involved, and applies only to the PURCHASER and ASAHI BENGALS in this transaction. This contract is non-transferable to any other party.

PURCHASER:
